Artists, art studios and arts organizations from across Long Island (and beyond) set up shop on Terry Street in Patchogue Village Saturday for the first-ever Arts on Terry festival, which attracted hundreds of people south of Main Street.

The festival, which ran from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., was a collaboration of Patchogue Arts Council and the artists and residents of Artspace.

The two groups share space in the Artspace Patchogue Lofts apartment building on Terry Street.

Between 500 and 600 artists were represented, the organizers said.
