Foodies and history enthusiasts descended on Port Jefferson Village Saturday for the first-ever Port Jeff Historic Restaurant Scavenger Crawl.
The crawl was sold out, the organizers said.

The day involved noshing no snacks and sipping beverages at 12 restaurants while learning the history of each location through trivia questions.
The hunt was hosted by the Port Jeff Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by the Pro Port Jefferson Association and the Ten Cent Menu Club.
