The Brewers Collective team in Bay Shore will be periodically turning their tasting room into an art galley (where the beer continues to flow).
And the first show is already up on the walls.
The show, called “It Figures: A Group Exhibit at The Brewers Collective,” features 10 different artists from Long Island. Their work will be on display until May 20, the end of Long Island Craft Beer Week.
In the meantime, they party. And the public is invited.
The first-ever art show reception at the brewery, located at 1460 North Clinton Avenue, Unit C, happens Friday, May 4, from 6:30 – 9;30 p.m.
All of the art is for sale and 100 percent of the proceeds go to the artists (who are listed below). There is no cover to attend.
“We put this up about a month ago with anticipation of having an art show this Friday,” said Jason Weingarten, a Brewers Collective co-owner.”All the art is for sale. And this is something we’re going to look to continue do to if the reception works well.”
