A third-prize winning ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Holtsville, the New York Lottery announced today.
Waverly Express Mart sold the lucky ticket for the Saturday, Feb. 10, drawing. The convenience store is located at 1106 Waverly Ave.
Two other third-prize tickets were sold for the same drawing, one at a 7-Eleven in upstate Katonah and the other at a newsstand on East 42nd Street in Manhattan. Those winning tickets are also each worth $50,000.
Winning Powerball numbers are drawn from a field of one to 69, every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights at 10:59 p.m. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26 during the same drawing.
The Powerball jackpot for tonight’s drawing is currently $270 million.
In early January, a third-prize Powerball ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven on Woodbury Road in Hicksville.
