Work is underway on a Sobol location coming to Miller Place, one of four new locations coming soon from the Long Island-based açaí bowl franchise.
Miller Place’s new Sobol will open inside the Aliano Shopping Center at 691 Route 25A, right next door to the recently opened Jimmy John’s sandwich shop. Construction at the location has been underway for weeks and coming soon signs are posted in the storefront’s windows.
The plaza is also set to welcome a Mister Softee shop, as previously reported by Greater Long Island.
Expanding across LI and the country

Sobol has 20 stores operating in Suffolk, and 40 across Long Island. Formerly known as Long Island Super Bowls, Sobol was founded in Sayville and has since grown to more than 100 locations across 11 states.
The franchise specializes in açaí bowls — a Brazilian dish made of mashed açaí palm fruit — topped with homemade granola, banana, strawberry, blueberry, coconut and drizzled-on honey. Sobol’s menu also includes smoothies, fresh pressed juices and other health-focused options.
Three other Sobol shops coming soon

The franchise also has new shops in the works in Selden, Roslyn Heights and Port Washington. Sobol opened its first store in Sayville, back in 2015.
An opening date has not been announced for the Miller Place store.
