Today Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that starting April 5, the 11 p.m. curfew will be lifted for select businesses.
In his statement, the governor said that these select establishments include casinos, movie theaters, bowling alleys, billiard halls, gyms, and fitness centers.
The 11 p.m. curfew for restaurants and the midnight curfew for catered events will remain in effect for now.
Cuomo said they are evaluating the decision to lift the curfew for food and beverage establishments and will have an update in April.
