Breaking: NY bar and restaurant curfew extends to midnight starting Monday, April 19

The 11 p.m. curfew for restaurants and bars has been moved an hour later.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced today that the state is extending the curfew for restaurants and bar to midnight, starting April 19.

Catered events can now operate until 1 a.m.

Below is a tweet from Cuomo about the curfew extension.

#BREAKING: Effective Monday, April 19, the curfew currently in place for bars & restaurants will be moving from 11pm to midnight.

The curfew for catered events will move from midnight to 1am.
