After being helped off the court, Green was ruled out for the rest of the contest. The Sixers would go on to lose the must-win game, 99-90, and were eliminated from the playoffs. The series ended 4-2.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, there is concern that Green suffered a “serious injury” and will undergo an MRI.

Green was a key veteran during the Philadelphia’s playoff run and helped lead the team from deep, shooting 40% from 3-point range. His work earned the love of the Sixers fans. This is them chanting in support of Green following his injury.

Green, who turns 35 next month, has one year, $10 million unguranteed left on his contract.
