Friday night marked downtown Patchogue’s first-ever Circus on Main street festival.
The inaugural yearly event came as the brainchild of the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce’s new committee, called the Family Fun Event Series.
The day featured pony rides, bounce houses, truck shows, a petting zoo, dunk tank and more.
And the streets were packed.
Committee chair, Mike Cirigliano of the Cirigliano Agency, shared these photos from the day.
The committee also includes GiGi’s Playhouse Long Island, the Patchogue Family YMCA, Patchogue Medford Youth & Community Services, Patchogue Arts Council and ThinkBIG! Theater Arts.
And more seasonal festivals are in the works.
Circus on Main ran from 5 to 9 p.m. on East Main Street in Patchogue.
