A familiar name in local pizza has found a new home.
Earlier this year, husband and wife Joel Gullo and Isabelle Caggiano reopened Bellagio at 1249 Melville Rd., just a few miles from its longtime location at Airport Plaza.
“Joel’s family owned and operated the original Bellagio Pizzeria at 211 Airport Plaza for over 20 years,” Isabelle said. “As the economy shifted and rent prices continued to rise, it became clear that the original location was no longer sustainable. It was a tough decision, but we knew it was time to adapt.”
So the couple took what Isabelle described as “the leap together.”
“With long nights, big dreams, and a love for serving great food, we found a new home for Bellagio just a few miles away,” she said.
A fresh chapter

Since then, the Caggianos have poured themselves into the new space.
“We’ve poured our hearts into the space — updating the menu with a blend of fresh creativity and old-school flavor, and infusing the business with our own energy while keeping the same heart and family spirit that customers have loved for decades,” Isabelle said.
“It’s been a whirlwind of learning, hard work, and genuine joy,” she added. “Bellagio has always been more than just a place to grab a slice — it’s been a community hub.”
Giving back

That community connection is central to the Caggianos’ vision.
“We’re proud to continue the tradition of giving back that Joel’s family began years ago,” Isabelle said. “Whether through local fundraisers, supporting youth sports, or providing meals to families in need, we’re committed to making Bellagio a meaningful part of the Farmingdale community. Giving back is in our DNA and now more than ever, we want to carry that spirit forward.”
The couple’s recent grand opening celebration reinforced their decision to move.
“The support we’ve received from the community has been overwhelming and truly reaffirming,” Isabelle said.
