Fans of ’80s movie magic are in for a treat this spring when the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts welcomes “Goonies” stars Corey Feldman and Kerri Green for a special movie screening.
At the March 22 event, the screening of “The Goonies” will be followed by an onstage conversation with Feldman and Green, featuring memorable filming moments and personal reflections on the film’s enduring legacy.
The moderated Q&A will give audience members the chance to ask their own questions. Additionally, limited VIP tickets will be available, including a meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with the stars.
Feldman and Green have recently reignited fans’ hopes for a sequel to “The Goonies.” Earlier this year, Feldman and Ke Huy Quan publicly expressed their enthusiasm for continuing the adventure.
Feldman rose to fame in the 1980s as one of Hollywood’s iconic child actors, also starring in “Stand by Me,” “The Lost Boys” and “Gremlins,” among some other classics.
‘Dancing with the Stars’ turn
In recent years, he has remained in the public eye through reality television appearances, advocacy work, and his recent turn as a contestant on “Dancing with the Stars.”
Feldman has also been outspoken about his past, producing the documentary “My Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys,” which examines his claims of sexual abuse during his youth and those involving his late friend and co-star Corey Haim. His candor has kept him at the center of conversations about child actors and abuse in Hollywood.
Tickets for the March 22, 7 p.m. event range from $60 to $100, including fees. They can be purchased in person at the theatre box office (71 E. Main St., Patchogue), by phone at 631.207.1313, or online.
