Crumbl Cookies is set to open its first Suffolk County location later this month.
A spokesperson for the company confirmed to Greater Long Island that the Stony Brook store will open Friday, Dec. 19, at Brooktown Plaza — the same shopping center as the AMC Loews movie theater. The address is 2184A Nesconset Highway. Crumbl locations typically open daily at 8 a.m.
The company began hiring for the new shop last month, posting openings for bakers, drivers and management positions as it assembled its opening team.
The Stony Brook debut continues Crumbl’s rapid expansion across Long Island. The popular cookie chain opened its fifth Island location in spring 2024 with an Oceanside shop, following earlier launches in Levittown, Port Washington, Massapequa and Merrick.
Crumbl is also planning another Suffolk County location at The Shops at SunVet development in Holbrook, though a timeline for that opening has not yet been announced.
Founded in 2017, Crumbl has grown into a national phenomenon, fueled largely by TikTok and Instagram, where the brand has amassed more than 15 million followers. Each Sunday, Crumbl unveils a rotating lineup of six “flavor drop” cookies — a strategy that regularly draws millions of views and, in many locations, lines out the door.
