Southside Hospital filled two clinical leadership positions.
Last month, the Bay Shore hospital announced the hiring of Dominick Gadaleta, MD as the new chairman of surgery and Don DeCrosta, MD as the new chairman of anesthesiology.
Gadaleta, a George Washington University School of Medicine graduate previously served as the director of surgery at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset. He also serves as an associate professor of surgery at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell,
Southside’s new head of anesthesiology, DeCrosta, is a graduate of Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and was a chief resident at New York University Medical Center.
“Having physicians from tertiary facilities joining Southside Hospital in leadership positions is a demonstration of the high-quality surgical programs we have built at Southside,” said Donna Moravick, NP, Southside’s executive director. “I look forward to further developing our surgical services with Dr. Gadaleta and Dr. DeCrosta.”
