Babylon’s Old Fashioned Christmas Night of Shopping set for Nov. 30

|
Babylon Village’s big holiday street festival is coming the end of November.
On Friday, Nov. 30, the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its annual Old Fashioned Christmas Night of Shopping.
“One of our favorite days of the year,” says Kelly Peckholdt of the chamber.
From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., there will be plenty of local boutiques and food vendors filling the streets for the Night of Shopping.
The chamber will also be setting up two large TVs to play holiday classics–one will be set up on Fire Island Avenue and the other will be on Deer Park Avenue across from Pandemonium Boutique.
Deer Park Avenue will be closed off for cars from Rail Road Avenue to Main Street, and Fire Island Avenue will be blocked off from Main Street to the Carriage House’s second driveway.
The kiddies will be able to see Santa and Ms. Claus, who will be riding through the village on a horse drawn carriage. Santa will be taking photos throughout the event (scroll down to see times and places), and will be taking Christmas lists.
There is a rain date ready for Friday, Dec. 7, for the same times.
