Suffolk Police arrested a Bay Shore man Wednesday after detectives raided his home and seized a stash of electronic devices in a child pornography investigation.

Anthony Escort, 33, pleaded not guilty to charges of possessing a sexual performance by a child and promoting a sexual performance by a child.

Detectives from the department’s Digital Forensic Unit executed a search warrant at Escort’s home at 7C Hemlock Drive in Bay Shore about 7:15 a.m., authorities said.

The raid came after a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program, police said.

Escort was arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Central Islip. Cash bail was set at $20,000.

Suffolk Police said the department continues to investigate tips related to internet crimes against children. Anyone with information about these types of crimes is asked to call the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children hotline at 1.800.843.5678 or Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1.800.220.TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential, police said.

Tips can also be submitted through the P3 Tips mobile app or online at P3Tips.com. Tipsters may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
