Five riverfront restaurants are banding together in Patchogue for a Blessing of the Fleet on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, with clergy members on hand to bless the local boats for a safe season out on the water.
What follows is a river-wide party. Each of the venues involved with be hosting live music from 1 to 5 p.m. that day, with a water taxi ushering riverfront revelers between them all.
The water taxis will run between Drift 82, Dublin Deck, Harbor Crab Co., Oar Steak & Seafood and The Sandbar, which is new to the Patchogue River scene — and just in time for summer.
“Patchogue River is the new Nautical Mile,” said Mark Miller, owner of Dublin Deck and Harbor Crab Co.
“We truly have something for everyone, friends and family,” added John Sarno of Drift 82. “These events, with more lined up for the summer of 2025, need to be experienced.”
