Chipotle Mexican Grill opens newest L.I. location in Port Jeff Station

|

Chipotle Mexican Grill is heading into August with a new restaurant opening here on Long Island.

On Tuesday, July 31, the Tex-Mex chain opens its newest location in Port Jeff Station.

The new restaurant, located in the Port Plaza shopping center on Route 112, is in a key location for the fast-growing company, a Chipotle spokesperson previously told GreaterPortJeff.

“Chipotle is always looking to open restaurants in areas new to Chipotle, like Port Jefferson, where they can make it easier for residents to enjoy flavorful, customizable food that’s made with only real, fresh ingredients,” she added.

The nearest Chipotle Mexican Grills are currently in Selden on Route 25/Middle Country Road, near County Road 83, and in Lake Grove at 2093 Smithaven Plaza, near Route 347.

There’s also a new Patchogue location, which opened in December. Altogether, there are well over 2,000 Chipotle locations nationwide, with more than two dozen on Long Island.
