The ‘OVO’ story
In “OVO,” the insects’ routine is disrupted when a mysterious egg appears, symbolizing the enigma and cycles of their lives.
Infusing a touch of romance into the insect community, a gawky and quirky insect finds love at first sight with a fabulous ladybug, creating moments of lively action and quiet emotion.
The show derives its name from the Portuguese word for “egg,” representing the life cycle and birth of numerous insects.
The August run at UBS Arena will mark the second time a Cirque du Soleil production has been featured at the Elmont venue.
