Claudio’s in Greenport has branched out to Nassau. No, not Nassau County.
The iconic North Fork restaurant has opened Claudio’s Bahamas at Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas.
The new restaurant “brings the legendary energy of its sister restaurant in Greenport to the heart of the Caribbean,” says an announcement from Atlantis Paradise Island.
The restaurant’s menu features “fresh seafood, seasonal favorites, and timeless island cocktails in a soulful, nautical setting.”
Guests at Claudio’s Bahamas will find familiar dishes from Greenport, such as calamari with preserved lemon aioli; baked clams with peppers, onions, double-smoked bacon, panko and parmesan; and Claudio’s lobster roll on brioche challah with brown butter, celery, lemon aioli and chives.
The menu also features plates unique to the Bahamas location, such as conch fritters, sticky ribs and fish goujons and fries made with Nassau grouper.
Nautical charm and vibrant soul

“We’re excited to introduce Claudio’s renowned East Coast legacy to the Bahamas for the very first time,” said Celeste Fierro, managing partner of Claudio’s. “Claudio’s Bahamas is a celebration of heritage and hospitality, where timeless nautical charm meets the vibrant soul of the islands.”
Claudio’s Bahamas overlooks the Water’s Edge Lagoon at The Coral at Atlantis. It’s open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night dining. Food is served until 2 a.m. and the drinks flow until 3 a.m.
“We’re thrilled that Claudio’s, an iconic brand with over 150 years of history, chose Atlantis for its first international location,” said Audrey Oswell, president and managing director of Atlantis Paradise Island.
“This partnership brings together two storied brands that share a deep commitment to excellence in service, entertainment, and guest experience,” she added.
The restaurant’s nautical-inspired interior features blue hues, natural wood tones and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Colorful fiberglass sailboats, suspended from the ceiling, were inspired by a Bahamian Class E sailboat that competed in regattas throughout the islands. Each is named after a Caribbean cocktail, such as the Painkiller, Yellow Bird and Bahama Mama.
The dining room opens to a large patio and shaded gazebo bar overlooking the lagoon, while the outdoor terrace features string lights and a DJ on weekends. Multiple large-screen TVs stream live sports and entertainment, and two semi-private dining rooms accommodate social events, birthday parties, family reunions and bachelor or bachelorette celebrations.
