Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help to identify and find a man they say stole merchandise from a Family Dollar store in Mastic in December.
Police say the man stole $170 worth of merchandise from Family Dollar, located at 1600 Montauk Highway, on Dec. 2 at about 6:55 p.m. He then fled in a white Ford Mercury Mountaineer. The suspect is described as a white male with facial hair, who was wearing a blue Aéropostale hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants, according to video surveillance.
