Flu’s Luncheonette is back.
The Middle Road mainstay in Blue Point will be opening for its 91st season on Wednesday, May 10.
This is the first summer for Flo’s in Blue Point since the company vacated its sister location in Patchogue Village to make room for the new Blue Point Brewery on West Main Street.
Owner Connor Vigliotta said he’s really pumped for 2017 after spending so much time in Patchogue.
“I’m so excited to be back in Blue Point since I was in Patchogue most of the time for the past two summers,” Vigliotta said.
He also hinted at some enhancements.
“People should check out the new additions to the menu and the restaurant,” he said. “Myself and the staff are looking to have a great 2017 season.”
Flo’s is located a block north of Corey Beach.
As previously reported, Flo’s Luncheonette is also taking over the town’s snack bar building that is actually on the beach, and has named the little eatery Floasis.
“Floasis is coming soon,” Vigliotta assured.
Work on the Blue Point Brewery is expected to start in June.
