Stony Brook’s Staller Center for the Arts has unveiled its Spring 2026 season lineup, featuring an eclectic mix of music, dance, theater, and comedy.
Highlights include violin virtuoso Itzhak Perlman, Broadway icon Mandy Patinkin, Drum Tao’s thunderous percussion, and comedian Vic DiBitett.
And they’re all performing right here on Long Island, January through May.
Season highlights:
- January 31 – Drum Tao: The Best – exhilarating Japanese drumming meets athletic choreography.
- February 7 – Itzhak Perlman in recital – a rare chance to see a living legend in his 80th-birthday season.
- February 13 – The Tragedy of Hamlet (directed by Robert Lepage) – a visually striking dance-theatre reimagining of Shakespeare.
- February 14 – Crystal Cimaglia: Tribute to Céline Dion – perfect for Valentine’s Day.
- March 4 – Emerson Legacy Concert featuring members of Emerson String Quartet – chamber music with pedigree.
- March 7 – Matthew Morrison: Rhythms & Revelations – Broadway star charm meets big-voice storytelling.
- March 14 – Rhythm of the Dance – Irish step-dance fireworks from The National Dance Company of Ireland.
- March 20 – Jazz at Lincoln Center: Great American Crooners – Sinatra-/Bennett-era standards filled with swing.
- March 22 – Grand Pistachio Theatre: Layer the Walls Part I – family-friendly puppetry and immigrant stories.
- April 11 – Parsons Dance Company – modern-dance powerhouse returning to the Center.
- April 16 – Starry Nights Chamber Music Series – intimate, top-tier musicians under one roof.
- April 18 – An Evening with Vic DiBitetto – comedy with a Long Island twist.
- April 25 & 26 – SBU Opera presents Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice – classical opera, beautifully staged.
- May 2 – Gala 2026: Mandy Patinkin in concert (JUKEBOX) – Broadway legend, American song-book gems and a night to remember.
