Mike Tyson has pulled out of his scheduled 4/20 appearance at Canna Blooms in Farmingville.
The dispensary said Sunday that the event has been postponed, just one day before Iron Mike was set to appear at the five-month old business.
The former heavyweight boxing champion was slated to headline Monday’s meet-and-greet tied to his Tyson 2.0 cannabis brand. Organizers said the appearance is now being pushed back until sometime in May.
Canna Blooms shared a brief nine-second video message from Tyson with the retired champ apologizing to fans.
“Hey, I’m sorry I couldn’t see you on 4/20,” Tyson said. “But I promise I’ll be there [at] Canna Boom and see you soon.”

Akash Jain of Canna Blooms said only that “something came up” and that Tyson’s appearance will be delayed until a date in May.
The Farmingville event had generated buzz as a rare Long Island appearance for Tyson, who was expected to serve as the centerpiece of the dispensary’s 4/20 weekend celebration.
One-hundred customers who purchased qualifying Tyson 2.0 products over the weekend were expected to receive access to the meet-and-greet.
Instead, the main event was scratched before the opening bell.
