The numbers are in for Long Island’s first meaningful snowfall of the year.
The National Weather Service has released its inch-count totals from across Long Island from Monday night’s snowstorm that covered the region in wet snow, though a warmer Tuesday helped wash a little away.
Commack, Smithtown and Centereach saw the highest count in Suffolk County, while Glen Cove took the crown in Nassau County.
Commack, Smithtown and Centereach all saw 5 inches of snow. Glen Cove, 5.1 inches.
