O’Beehave Refill Bar prides itself on using the three R’s for environmental preservation.
And now it has been a year since the company — which was founded in 2010 — went brick and mortar in the Village of Babylon.
To celebrate, O’Beehave Refill Bar on 32 Deer Park Avenue will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday May, 4 at 1 p.m.
The company opened its doors on Earth Day last year.
“We want to the thank the village for welcoming us,” said co-founder Jeanine Schattart-Longo. “Babylon Village has been so supportive.”
For the uninitiated, O’Beehave is a beauty, bath, home and soap depository that sells all-natural and organic products.
“We want Long Island that we are the first of our kind,” said Schattart-Longo. “This is a great place to get rid of toxins out of your life and plastics.”
During Friday’s ceremony, O’Beehave Refill Bar will be launching an all-new hand sanitizer.
“It is a spring sanitizer called Bees Knees,” explained co-owner Sue Czekaj.
In addition to the new product line, O’Beehave will be offering a 10 percent discount for all shoppers that stop by on Friday. The store is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
