Babylon’s new lifestyle boutique Hitch Handmade Market celebrated its grand opening in the village on Saturday.
During the party, the new market at 37 East Main Street had giveaways, snacks, and drinks.
“We would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to everyone that came to our grand opening celebration,” the owners Joe DeBello and Justina DiMaggio wrote on Facebook. “For those of you that came, who laughed, cried, shopped, drank, and for those of you that couldn’t make it but called and messaged with your best wishes, we are extremely grateful.”
The two officially opened in the downtown during the Babylon Block Party on Thursday, Aug. 14.
The longtime friends, who used to sell their products out of a 1965 Shasta camper, offer items from 65 New York-based vendors.
