Four playgrounds in Plainview have received upgrades from the Town of Oyster Bay.
These come in addition to upgrades or complete overhauls at other playgrounds across the town, officials said.
“We are proud to announce that these new playgrounds are now open for our town’s youngsters to safely enjoy for years to come,” said Oyster Bay Supervisor Joseph Saladino.
Saladino made the announcement jointly with Oyster Bay Councilman Lou Imbroto.
“We are dedicated to providing safe and engaging spaces for families to get outside and play and enjoy the many wonderful local parks throughout our town,” said Imbroto, who was elected to the Town Board in 2017.
The follow locations have received upgrades, according to the town:
- Parklet P-3, Woodway Road, Plainview
- Parklet P-9, Cynthis Lane, Plainview
- Parklet P-17, Tad Lane, Plainview
- Parklet P-29, Beatrice Lane, Plainview
