Lush Life Group, the team behind several popular Oyster Bay eateries, is expanding its footprint once again with the opening of Provisions Market, a specialty grocery store slated to debut in early April at 108 South St.
The new market marks the sixth food-related venture in the area for partners Claudia Taglich and Chef Jesse Schenker, known for establishments including 2 Spring, FOUR, Gioia, Gimme Burger, and Provisions Bread & Cheese.
Located in the historic Snouder’s building, Provisions Market will offer gourmet grocery items such as meats, cheeses, pantry staples, and prepared foods.
The store will also feature curated housewares and kitchen goods selected by Taglich, who also owns the building.
“Provisions Market is a celebration of the food and experience found at all our establishments,” Taglich said. “If you like the glassware at 2 Spring or the linens from FOUR, you can find those here.”
Prepared foods including rotisserie chickens, soups, and stocks will be available daily, alongside made-to-order sandwiches and salads. The counter will feature a bespoke butchery, seafood selections, and cheese and charcuterie offerings. Seasonal local produce and products from nearby farms will be highlighted, reflecting Schenker’s relationships with regional purveyors.
Fresh bread and baked goods from Provisions Bread & Cheese will be a focal point, and New York-based For Five Coffee Roasters will supply the market’s coffee.
Private dinners

After hours, the store will transform into “The Dinner Table at Provisions,” a reservation-only, family-style dining experience for up to 10 guests. Meals will be created using signature recipes from the market. Pricing is available upon request.
Market hours

Market hours will be Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Catering services will also be offered. The hope is to open sometime this coming weekend.
