PopUp Bagels is continuing its Long Island expansion.
Greater Long Island has learned the viral bagel company will open its newest shop Friday, June 5, at 130 Main St. in Westhampton.
To mark the debut, PopUp Bagels is teaming up with fellow East End favorite Tate’s Bake Shop to launch a limited-time Chocolate Chip Cookie schmear.
The Westhampton shop comes after PopUp Bagels built a following through several seasonal pop-ups in Amagansett, drawing lines of customers eager to get their hands on the brand’s hot bagels and rotating schmears.

PopUp Bagels opened its first official Long Island shop in November 2024 at 1388 Old Northern Blvd. in Roslyn, where customers lined up for the company’s now-famous bagels.
PopUp is also planning another Long Island location at 900 Old Country Road in Garden City, though no opening timeline has been announced.
Founded out of Adam Goldberg’s Connecticut home during the pandemic, PopUp Bagels quickly grew from a backyard operation into a fast-growing brand with locations across New York City and New England. The company has also attracted notable investors, including actor Paul Rudd.

The concept is intentionally simple: small batches of hot bagels sold by the dozen, paired with rotating schmears and dips. Lines often form before opening, and sellouts have become part of the brand’s buzz.
The bagels, known for their crispy crust, soft interior and balanced toppings, have also earned national attention, including back-to-back “Best Bagel” honors at Brooklyn’s BagelFest.
But don’t expect to grab a sandwich or bacon, egg and cheese.
At PopUp Bagels, the bagels are served hot and whole, meant to be ripped apart and dipped into select cream cheese options.
