Red Roof Inn opens in Copiague’s old Days Inn property after renovations

|

Lodging options on the South Shore just got a little boost today with the announcement that a Red Roof Inn has opened in Copiague.

The new Red Roof Inn, which bills itself as the leader in economy lodging, offers 37 rooms and is located right off Sunrise Highway. The address is 10 34th St. in Copiague. It’s also pet friendly.

The company took over the old, decrepit Days Inn that operated at the location for years — and immediately got to work updating the facade.

“As part of its conversion to a Red Roof property, renovations [also] included updating the guest bathrooms and the breakfast area, adding new bedding and updating landscaping,” the announcement reads.

Parent company Red Roof, now in its 50th year of operation, operates over 60,000 rooms in nearly 700 properties from coast to coast across the U.S., and internationally in Brazil in Japan.

The new hotel offers free Wi-Fi, free coffee in the lobby, a snack center and free parking.

The new Red Roof Inn is located at 10 34th St. in Copiague.
