If you’re still planning on going out this Friday, the Riverhead BID announced in a social media post that many participating restaurants will still have fun events planned, but they will be indoors.
The new Alive on 25 date — Aug. 23 — will be the last of this summer’s events and will conclude with a laser light show. The festival will run from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., after which Main Street will reopen to vehicular traffic at 10 p.m.
