Sayville Cheese announced on Wednesday that it’s moving to a new, larger location on West Main Street in Sayville.
The new store will be located at 108 W. Main St., across the street from CVS. The shop opened its current location at 110 Main St. in downtown Sayville in September 2021.
“As much as we love our nook in the middle of town, space is what we crave,” Sayville Cheese posted on its Facebook page. “With more room means more product and services to offer.”
Those “services” may even include wine, the posts adds.
“Change is good,” the post reads in large font-size.
The downtown location will remain open until the new store is ready for operation, according to the post. Sayville Cheese did not indicate a timeline for the opening of its new location.

In its early stages of operation, the Sayville Cheese business temporarily operated out of Paris Street Market on South Main Street. Its 2021 opening came on the heels of the closing of foodie fan favorite American Cheese on Railroad Avenue in Sayville.
