HARP & HOUND, ISLIP
The Harp and Hound held its grand opening at 528 Main Street in Islip on Oct. 15, and is currently open seven days a week.
The ownership team — Kyra Meehan-Comiskey, Matt Venturini, Nicholas Jimenez, and Heather Hemberger — completely transformed the old Mary Dowling’s into an Irish pub beaming with Celtic pride.
The pub features traditional Irish delicacies, such as Shepard’s pie and fish and chips, but will also offer other pub classics like wings, burgers, and more. There’s also plenty of space inside and a large patio.
