Friends and family will come together in Center Moriches this weekend to honor and remember Brenda Ingraham, the 28-year-old mother of two who was died in a motorcycle crash on Blue Point Road last Sunday.
Funeral arrangements for Ingraham, a Westhampton Beach High School alumna who formerly lived in East Moriches, have been finalized by Robertaccio Funeral Home, located at 495 Main St. Visiting hours will take place from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, and a closing prayer is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Monday, June 9, at the funeral home.
Following the closing prayer service, a final resting place ceremony will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 43 Main St. in Center Moriches.
Ingraham, who has been remembered by family as “a ray of sunshine,” died following the collision last Sunday afternoon. Cops said the accident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. on Blue Point Road when a 2018 Ford Explorer driven by a Patchogue man collided with Ingraham’s 2018 Kawasaki Ninja while the SUV was attempting a left turn onto Pinedale Avenue.

“Brenda was the light that always lit up a room. She was such a strong beautiful person . She loved with all that she was,” her aunt, Lana Tirotta, wrote on the tribute wall of Ingraham’s obituary.
Ingraham’s friend, Danielle Anderson, shared heartfelt memories of their relationship.
“Selfless. Beautiful. Strong. Courageous. A mother. A sister. A daughter. An absolute sunflower of a human,” she wrote on the tribute wall. “I am eternally grateful for our friendship, and all the life we experienced together. You taught me when to be strong, and when it’s okay to not be.”
The young mother’s family and friends are now rallying around her children, raising money through a GoFundMe campaign to support the children and to provide the kind of good-bye they said Brenda deserves.
“Brenda was an incredible mother of two perfect children and in so many ways she was the rock for our entire family,” her cousin Koralynn Quigley wrote on the fundraising page. “Anyone who knew Brenda knew what a ray of sunshine she was … we’ll carry her in our hearts always.”
The GoFundMe campaign has raised over $18,000 from nearly 180 contributions as of Saturday night.
