More than 50 dealers, colonial treasures, home décor and a preview party highlight one of the Hamptons’ signature summer traditions.
Collectors, decorators and anyone who appreciates timeless design will have plenty to explore when the East Hampton Historical Society’s 20th Annual Antiques & Design Show Benefit returns to historic Mulford Farm next month.
The two-day event takes place Saturday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, July 12, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Mulford Farm, 10 James Lane in East Hampton, with a Preview Cocktail Party set for Friday, July 10, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Now celebrating its 20th year, the show brings together more than 50 carefully selected antiques and art dealers offering everything from vintage furniture and lighting to artwork, garden décor, architectural pieces, textiles, jewelry and Americana. Whether you’re a serious collector or simply looking for a one-of-a-kind piece for your home, the show offers something for every taste.
This year’s event also ties into America’s 250th anniversary celebration, with many exhibitors showcasing colonial and early American antiques. Visitors can also tour the recently restored Mulford Farmhouse, which has been returned to its 1776 appearance and furnished with period artifacts highlighting East Hampton’s role during the American Revolution.
Celebrated interior designer Tom Scheerer will serve as honorary chair for this year’s benefit, continuing a tradition that attracts designers, collectors and history enthusiasts from across the region.
Tickets for the Preview Cocktail Party begin at $275 and include admission to the show throughout the weekend. General admission starts at $18 in advance or $20 at the gate.
