The sights, sounds and flavors of Greece are returning to Port Washington.
The Greek Festival on the Harbor will celebrate its 15th anniversary with four days of food, music, dancing and family fun from Thursday, Sept. 24 through Sunday, Sept. 27, at North Hempstead Beach Park.
Hosted by Archangel Michael Church, the annual festival brings Greek culture to the waterfront with authentic dishes, homemade pastries, live music and traditional dancing.
Families can also expect rides and activities throughout the weekend, while Saturday night’s festivities will include a fireworks show over the harbor.
Organizers say the festival, now in its 15th year, has grown into a celebration not only of Greek heritage, but of the families and community that have supported it over the years.

The Greek Festival on the Harbor takes place at North Hempstead Beach Park at 175 W. Shore Road in Port Washington.
Festival hours are 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24; 4 to 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25; noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26; and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27.
Admission and parking are free, with fireworks scheduled for Saturday night.
