Auditions for 2016 Star Shine are less than a week away, with applications due Friday, Nov. 13.
Children and teenagers from grades 1 through 12 are invited to compete in Long Island’s premier talent contest, with tryouts set for Nov. 17 and Nov. 18.
The event itself, sponsored by the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts and SooBee Productions, will be held April 10 at the theater’s main stage in Patchogue Village.
Acceptable acts include singing, comedy, instrumental, storytelling, dancing, acrobatics, small band, orchestra and singing ensembles, according to the organizers,
