[Update: This event is now sold out, but Santa is expected to return next year.]

He was once Frank Pascuzzi, according to reports. But he changed his name nearly a decade ago.

Meet the “real” Santa Claus.

Santa (you can check his I.D.) has made headlines across the country, from Inside Edition to Fox News to The Washington Post.

And on Sunday, Dec. 19, he’ll be delighting kids and parents alike at RHUM in Patchogue, sources say, for a special Santa Brunch event at the tri-level Main Street restaurant.

According to The Washington Post, this Long Islander legally changed his name in 2012 in Suffolk County Supreme Court.

So if your child asks for proof Sunday that he’s really Santa Claus, he can pull out his wallet and prove it.

“I show them my driver’s license, credit card and insurance cards,” Claus told The Washington Post in 2019.

“Now, I have proof that I am who I say I am. All of a sudden, it becomes more magical.”
