Tap Room unveils ‘The Loft,’ for 2nd floor bashes in Rockville Centre

|

This is not just some upstairs at a bar.

The new second floor space at Tap Room in Rockville Centre is massive — measuring 5,000 square feet.

It felt so unique, so different from the rest of The Tap Room, that the owners gave it a name — The Loft — and this month held a grand opening bash to mark its unveiling at 47-51 N. Village Ave.

“The huge Loft space features large windows, with a face-to-face view of the elevated train station at Rockville Centre, giving it a unique urban vibe, unlike anywhere else on Long Island,” reads a press announcement from Tap Room.

The Loft boasts its own bar, flatscreens, a stage for bands, and a high-def projector, all designed for concerts and private events.

That 90s Band helped open the space on Saturday, April 1. Bands are currently scheduled for every Saturday into May. (The schedule is listed below.)
