Northwell Health headed to Bay Shore High School Friday to talk to students about careers in health care.
Those potential careers for the students range from clinical roles, like doctors and nurses, to non-clinical roles, such as jobs in IT or public relations.
Even representatives from Northwell’s real estate department were on hand.
“It shows kids there are opportunities here in the community, such as at Southside [Hospital],” said Matthew DePace, a Northwell Health community relations manager.
GBS-TV’s Nicholas Esposito got the opportunity to interview students, as well as learn CPR.
