Some bad weather didn’t stop the community from showing up to the return of the Bay Shore-Brightwaters St. Patrick’s Day parade.
The popular parade returned Saturday after a two-year pause due to the pandemic.
With chilly temperatures and rainfall, many brave spectators watched the show outside on Main Street. Others cheered from full restaurant and bars.
This year’s parade honored Tim Mooney, president and owner of the Fire Island Ferries, as the grand marshal.
