Northwell Health Cancer Institute and the Greater Bay Shore community just celebrated the opening of the $46.5 million Imbert Cancer Center at the corner of Main Street and South Saxon Avenue in Bay Shore.
Below is a virtual photo tour the new cancer center.
The photos include nursing stations, consultation rooms, chemotherapy rooms, a conference room, the facility’s living room, and some of the South Shore-inspired artwork that’s found througout.
The large machines you’ll see are a state-of-the-art linear accelerator, which greatly reduces radiation exposure to non-cancer cells, followed by a PET/CT scan machine.
