Video: South Country Elementary dedicates new learning space in Bay Shore

South Country Elementary School held a ribbon cutting in Bay Shore last month for a new outdoor learning space. 

The courtyard gazebo offers space for students to conduct science experiments, complete art projects and compose poetry, among other activities — all while surrounded by the very things they are learning about, according to Bay Shore School District.

The learning space was made possible by a generous donation from the Ryan Family.
