A new pet-inspired coffee shop has officially opened in the heart of Westhampton Beach.
And it’s already brewing up attention from locals and their four-legged companions.
Brody’s Coffee, located next to Westhampton Beach Brew & Grill on Main Street, opened Saturday as the vision of 27-year-old Vincent Greco, who said the opportunity to create something of his own came unexpectedly.
“I had no experience with coffee at all,” Greco told Greater Long Island. “There was a lot of back and forth deciding if I wanted to do it.”
Greco, who grew up working in his family’s restaurant business and originally planned to become a veterinarian, said he made the decision in December to move forward with the project. By January and February, he was traveling throughout Long Island and several other states searching for the right coffee program and roasting partner.

Named after Greco’s black lab mix (pictured), Brody’s was designed as a pet-inspired café centered around community, homemade ingredients and a relaxed atmosphere welcoming to both coffee lovers and their dogs. Brody’s also plans to host weekend adoption events with local animal shelters and expand into more pet-friendly outdoor patio seating during the summer months.
If you go
Nearly everything at Brody’s is made in-house, including flavored syrups used in the café’s specialty lattes, according to Greco.
The all-day café serves coffee, tea, matcha, chai, shaken espresso drinks and Lotus plant-based energy beverages, alongside muffins, croissants and other baked goods sourced from local bakers. Fresh sourdough breads, cookies, breakfast items and lunch offerings are also expected to roll out closer to Memorial Day.
Before opening, Greco completely transformed the former café space with new counters, fresh paint, updated menu boards and greenery inspired by his love of gardening.
“I wanted it to feel laid back,” he said. “I don’t like places that feel overwhelming.”
The café is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., giving both locals and visitors a new Main Street spot to grab a coffee — with their canine companions in tow.
