Postal worker raped 15-year-old in mail truck, East Hampton police say

A U.S. Postal Service worker was arrested Friday for sexually abusing a 15-year-old inside a postal vehicle in East Hampton — an assault the child reported to school officials, police said..

Jenry Buestan Gutama, 23, of Moriches, was charged with first-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child, East Hampton Town Police said.

Cops said Buestan Gutama was behind the wheel of a USPS vehicle in East Hampton at the time of the incident, with the juvenile as a passenger. Investigators learned the child knew Buestan Gutama prior to the assault.

Buestan Gutama was held at East Hampton Town Police Department headquarters and is expected to be arraigned Saturday at East Hampton Town Justice Court on Saturday.
