It’s election time, and we’ve got one more race to call.
If you could bring one restaurant chain to Long Island, which would get your vote?
Maybe you’d go with an In-N-Out Double-Double, hash browns scattered and smothered at Waffle House, or a plate of chicken and dumplings at Cracker Barrel. Zaxby’s, Whataburger and Cook Out are on the ballot, too.
A couple of candidates are running on a comeback ticket. Jack in the Box and Houston’s both had a presence on Long Island, so this might be a chance to bring back an old favorite.
If your ideal chain comes with a raw bar and a steak knife, there’s room on the ballot for Eddie V’s Prime Seafood and McCormick & Schmick’s.
Cast your vote below. Write-ins are welcome, always.
