Two new restaurants and a popular fitness studio are in the works for the Westfield South Shore Mall on Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore.
And a Sbarro just opened in the dining court next to Nathan’s.
GreaterBayShore paid a visit to the mall last week.
Representatives for the companies weren’t immediately available for comment because, well, these are chains and franchises, after all.
But here’s what we were able to find for you:
It looks like Takumi Hibachi and Sushi Lounge is the closest to opening, just from us peering through the windows.
Its Facebook page says simply that they are “coming soon.”
According to the Westfield Mall website, Takumi will be offering traditional Japanese fare and fresh sushi. It’s located next to Cheesecake Factory.
