One of the biggest stars on social media is coming to Long Island.
Sommer Ray, an online personality, fitness model, and DJ with nearly 40 million followers across her platforms, will be headlining the first annual “Summer Set Beats Festival” at Dublin Deck Tiki Bar and Grill in Patchogue on Saturday, Aug. 24.
“When it came to booking the headliner, we wanted to think outside the box,” said Dublin Deck co-owner Scottie Campbell. “We wanted someone that both women and young people could relate to.”
Campbell said he got the idea to reach out to Ray while in Vegas, after she performed a show at Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace.
Ray began learning how to DJ a few years ago, and now tours across the United States. Here’s a clip of her performing in Toronto.
In addition to Ray, the openers are two popular Long Island DJs, Tucci and Trizzoh. The show begins at 4 p.m., and Ray will be performing a 90-minute set.
