A new QDOBA is coming to Deer Park — and it’s bringing something Long Island hasn’t seen before.
The Mexican fast-casual spot, opening by year’s end at the corner of Deer Park Avenue and Lake Avenue, will feature the brand’s first-ever pick-up window in the region.
“It’s different than a drive-thru,” said Jake Froccaro of Burger Brothers Restaurant Group, which owns and operates six other QDOBA locations in Nassau and Suffolk. “You order on an app and then drive up and get your food. You don’t order at one window and then drive around to another window and wait to pick it up.”
The new store at 1826 Deer Park Ave. replaces a former STS Tire and Auto Center and is part of a broader QDOBA expansion across Long Island.
New locations are also planned for Lake Grove, Lindenhurst, and Riverhead, with openings expected in 2026, Froccaro said.
Burger Brothers is also behind Dave’s Hot Chicken on Glen Cove Road in Carle Place, and they’re eyeing more locations for that brand, too.
“So far, our one location has been very busy,” said Froccaro. “There’s a lot of excitement about the brand. People tell us they come from all over to eat there, and there’s a lot of requests for another location further east.”
As for whether QDOBA and Dave’s Hot Chicken could one day share the same Deer Park space, which is currently under construction?
Froccaro said he had no comment at this time.
Burger Brothers also owns and operates more than 30 Burger Kings across Long Island, along with The Greene Turtle in East Meadow.
