The New York Racing Association has unveiled plans for a new level of hospitality at Belmont Park.
Called The Champion Suites, the private, year-round spaces will debut when the racetrack reopens in 2026, offering guests modern amenities, climate-controlled comfort, and panoramic views of the stretch run and finish line.
The announcement marks the latest milestone in NYRA’s $455 million redevelopment of the historic venue.
Each suite will feature indoor lounge seating, open-air tiered stadium seats, and a private balcony.
The climate-controlled rooms range in capacity from 16 to 50 guests, ideal for race-day celebrations, corporate events and milestone gatherings, NYRA officials said.
Each suite will also feature dedicated VIP entrance and direct elevator access to the suite level.
“The Champion Suites are part of our vision to bring a new era of hospitality to Belmont Park,” the announcement reads. “Fans and guests will be able to experience the best of racing and Long Island’s social scene in one remarkable setting.”
Early commitments are encouraged to reserve a suite ahead of the track’s reopening.

The five-story, 300,000-square-foot project is reimagining the historic grandstand with modern fan amenities, flexible hospitality options and more open green space for the surrounding community, officials said.
When complete, Belmont will feature four racing surfaces: the traditional 1½-mile dirt track, two turf courses, and a one-mile Tapeta surface for winter racing.
The park will reopen for live racing in September 2026, with the Belmont Stakes returning home in 2027 — the same year Belmont hosts the Breeders’ Cup World Championships for the first time since 2005.
Suite capacities will range from 16 to 50 guests, with layouts designed for both race-day gatherings and private events.
